Guided tour

Guided tours in Czech, English and German language are offered to visitors of the Pilgrimage Church of St John of Nepomuk at Zelena hora. The tour starts at the main west gate, goes across the cemetery, into the Church. Guided tour takes 45 minutes.

Opening hours

See the table for the regular opening hours. The main tourist season is from April 1st to October 31st.

*      last guided tour starts 1 hour before the end of the opening time, on Saturday in 15 PM
**    guided tours for groups booked n advance are available in other days
***  only guided tours for groups booked in advance (at least 3 days) are available in these months

Guided tour booking in the main season 

Guided tour booking is requested for the groups of 10 or more people 

Guided tour booking has advantages for visitors:

• We agree on the date and time of the guided tour so the group doesn’t wait. 
• We do not charge reservation fee.
• Booked groups with more than 20 people get 1 free adult ticket.

 Guided tours bookings conditions:

1. Ticket payment is available only in cash, in Czech Crowns (CZK) at the counter before the beginning of the guided tour.
2. We recommend to make advance booking for groups of 10 people or more.
3. Your reservation request will be confirmed via e-mail within 48 hours.
4. The guide or teacher responsible for the group should get to the counter in the Church of St. John of Nepomuk at least 10 minutes before the booked time. If the booked time is not met we cannot guarantee the guided tour in the booked time.
5. Advance booking is free of charge.

Guided tour outside the main opening times

It is possible to visit the Pilgrimage Church of St John of Nepomuk outside the main opening times - from November to March. It is possible to book the guided tour in advance. Booking of the guided tour outside the main opening times must be agreed at least three weekdays in advance with the management of service desk.

Notes and other conditions:

• The first guided tour starts with the opening, at 9 am, the counter is open 10 minutes before the beginning of the first guided tour.
• The last guided tour starts 30 minutes before the end of opening hours. The counter is closed before the beginning of the last guided tour. 
• The intervals between each guided tour are given by the management of the Pilgrimage Church of St John of Nepomuk on Green Hill and are set by service conditions and security of the visitors. The time of the next guided tour in the main tourist season is given on the counter door.
• Both the church and the counter are closed during the guided tour. The guided tour inside the church takes about 20 minutes.  
• Visitors service is run according to current service conditions. 
• If arranged in advance the groups can book the visit outside the main opening times.
